Bandwagon

Everywhere I turn today every one is posting pictures of '1st day of school' for all their kids.  So here's my contribution.  Not quite as well staged as others but here you go.  The Kid's 1st day of school.

He's now 4 days a week and it's hard to say who is more excited, him or Mommy.  He got up early this morning getting his school snack ready and his backpack.  He wore it from 10 in the morning until it was time to leave.  Such an excited kid.

Daddy, Mommy and Little Lady all went to drop The Kid off.  Little Lady didn't want to leave the classroom.  In fact, Daddy had to escort a reluctant, not-so-lady-like Lady out of the classroom.

Mid-Month Happenings

Happy April Everyone!  It's weird how during a week-day afternoon I actually think, "I'm bored, the kids are bored, what am I going to do?"  When that happens things like this happen.

First Day of (Pre) School!

Woohoo!  The Kid is all (sniff sniff) grown up.  Sort of.  It is just preschool but still.  He's gone for three hours Monday and Wednesday only.  

Yippee Look Who's Three!!

Lady Chan is now in possession of a 3 year old.  The Man and I are hoping that 3 will be a calmer year for The Kid.  Here's to hoping.  We celebrated Sunday night with his grandparents actually being able to make it and not having to celebrate on a day other than his birth-day.

This is about as far as my motivation goes for St. Patrick's Day.  At least for now.  Sometimes I surprise even myself with last minute holiday spirit.  

Two Years Old!

Look who's TWO!!!  As of the 22nd anyway.  We celebrated a little early this year since the MB and Papa were leaving town on that day.

And waiting...and waiting...BUT, only 3 more days!!!  It's been a long 9 months.  An even longer last month because of the heat wave.  I think I'm supposed to be learning something from this trial.  

The Kid

Today was a good day.  As far as minimal tantrums go, we had an altogether happy day.  This little guy has got a temper!  I have no idea where he got that from.

We experienced a number of new things this afternoon.  Well, two that stand out anyway.
