Camping and Things...

Last weekend Daddy told The Kid they were going to go 'camping'.  In the backyard.  (In an effort to acclimate the kids to camping in the future).  And apparently they weren't the only ones excited about it.

Little Lady wanted in on the action as well.  So after roasting s'mores over a campfire, the kids got crazy in the tent.

It was soooo cute.  Little Lady and The Kid were LOVING the sleeping bags and basically checking out every square inch of the tent.  You'd be amazed at how much time they can drag out by doing that.  Needless to say it was a long, hyper and happy night.  Little Lady was the last one standing.

AND I couldn't get The Kid to keep his eyes open when the flash went off on my camera.

The Man took it all like a champ.  (Mommy got to sleep soundly in her own comfy bed Saturday night).  The whole gang had a long hard (and tiring) day at church the next day.


And amazingly enough I squeezed in some family portraits after church.  They aren't perfect but it needed to happen.  We haven't had a picture of all four of us since October.  OCTOBER!  It was time.
