It's name? Number Two.

SURPRISE!!!

We're adding to our happy family!  Can't wait for 'The Kid' to have a play-mate/sibling!  I'm a little apprehensive about what having two kids will be like.

I was telling the MB this morning if they are all like 'The Kid' then I can do it.  I'm also going to need to come up with a blog name for the next one.  I can't call him Number Two because...well...who wants to be known as Number Two?

The Other?

The Sib?

Those seem to give the little one second-rate status.  Not gonna happen!  I guess we'll have to brainstorm some more on that.

For now, we're excited and anticipating more late night craziness.

I'll most likely deliver on or around September 17th.  Hooray!!!  It seems like an eternity from now.

  2. No apologies needed! In fact, when i was telling my brother about my pregnancy I couldn't help say, 'Who does #2 work for!" Such a gross movie...BUT...such a funny part.

Congrats on your pregnancy too. It's an exciting time. At least the first time around. Because you have no idea what you're in for. Bwahahaha! No, it's still exciting the second time around. You just mix a little apprehension in with it.

  3. Hi Sherry, congratulations!!! We are so fortunate to be grandparents again in a few months time. We are blessed to have Anika Karyan Chan in Jan 2012 and maybe a "Princess" in September. I am sure the Kid will have a fun time upon the arrival of your second child.
    Love you guys!

  6. You had that distant voice calling on the warm Kenyan wind whisper to you that your dearest is with child did you? You're so in tune like that!!

Chocolate Mousse...yessss. I made it to spite my mother who said it was a pain to make and took forever. Naturally I rose to the challenge. And it was perfection. I love proving her wrong. Makes life so sweet. :)

  7. So exciting! And the second one at least has "broken in" parents. : ) I have a friend that named her kids Bug and Bear. I forget what her third was. But extra naming is always fun!

  8. 'Broken In' or just 'Broken'? Question of the year is, can we find a house before Baby 2 arrives.
