A Very Merry Un-Un Birthday!

I generally don't go crazy for birthdays.  It's kind of silly really.  But...that doesn't stop me from having a good time and using it as an excuse to not have to do any number of things big or small.  "Darling, could you get up out of bed and turn off the light for me....it's my birthday."  Like that.  

What?  

The Man treated me to a lovely 'heart attack' breakfast Tuesday morning.  Though he described it a little differently on the menu board.

I really have no words to express the hilarity of this meal.  But I made it through.  It was delicious.  And I only wish I could've had a nice long nap after consuming ALL of it.

That night a friend took me to Cheesecake Factory and treated me to dessert.  Might I suggest the Godiva Cheesecake.  It really is quite decadent.  And it lasts me for days it's so rich and dreamy...

Wednesday morning we dressed and got The Kid ready for school and dropped Little Lady to Omi's for the day so The Man could escort me to the Happiest Place on Earth.  Yay for Disneyland!  Though we're so old and lame now we pooped out at around 2:30 p.m.  I think we were missing our kids but not admitting it.  And to be really honest the last ride we went on really did us in.  I really never thought that could ever happen.  I think we'll stick to the It's a Small World and the Jungle Cruise rides from now on. Or maybe just the train.

Oh, and by the by...if you find yourself in the Candy Palace (it's really not right if you don't) I must direct your attention to the cashew, caramel and chocolate covered pretzel stick.  Heaven....
