A warning to all family: if you come for a visit...be prepared for invitations to 'help' out at our house.

Thank you Uncle C for visiting us here in California for a couple days!  Wasn't it so fun?!  Thank you so much for helping with a couple odd jobs around our place.  It really makes a huge difference for us.

Finally, curtains!!

We commandeered Uncle C's truck too.  We were loading a few shovels full of cinder block rubble in the garbage bin each week for the trash pick up.  But at that rate we would have it cleared in 2032.  Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!

Uncle C observed that piling all the rubble in his truck reminded him of a Chevy truck commercial.  Except without the cool country theme song.  Hm.  I'm just glad we didn't break his truck.  I would've felt kinda bad about that.

And this is just for me.  I can't help it.  I showed The Kid how to do Tape Face and now whenever he finds tape he asks me to do that for him.  It's the simple pleasures in life I know..
